PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS
- Install, test, maintain and repair switchboard systems.
- Installation, maintenance and repair of distribution racks, distribution cables, connectors, grounding and wiring for various telecommunication systems.
- Conducts site surveys, plans and coordinates infrastructure upgrades with other departments and organizations for small to medium environments.
Job Description - Requirements
- Extensive travel in the United States
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Functional knowledge and demonstrated use of common computer applications (MS Word and Excel).
- Interpret standard construction drawings, including electrical, communications and some structural drawings.
- Demonstrates ability to use appropriate telecommunications test equipment, interpret results, and make appropriate decisions based on findings.
- Prove your ability to operate power equipment such as golf carts, transport carts, platform cranes, scissor lifts and jib cranes with reliable training.
Other requirements:
- At least 2 years experience in the field.
- Able to analyze data, identify problems and draw logical conclusions.
- Comfortable working at heights including ladders, scissor and boom lifts up to 50'.
- Team work; establish and maintain effective and relevant working relationships with those contacted during the workday.
- Possesses and maintains a valid government-issued authorization for automobile and air travel in the state of Oklahoma and throughout the United States. Legend:
