Obligations
- Gameplay: Design and map gameplay from a systems perspective designed to improve player retention.
- Community: Project features that allow players to connect with each other and grow a community of sharing and virality
- Discover the fun: design, prototype and test exciting new experiences in the social party space. This includes both paper tests and digital prototypes
- Documentation: Provide clear feature documentation with diagrams and analysis, supported by numbers, wireframes and prototypes where necessary
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teammates by giving and receiving creative/team feedback, providing creative input from others, and providing clear creative goals with purposeful desired outcomes.
Norm
- 3 years of experience as a game designer delivering multiple large scale products
- Previous Unity development experience
- Experience the design of real-time metagame features that increase players' persistence and virality
- Experience designing and mapping game progression systems
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- A passion for making video games, especially in a fast, focused, smaller format compared to multi-year investments
- Bonus skills
- You are familiar with visual design tools such as Playmaker or Blueprint
- Popular video and board games in party mode
- Can use art tools like Adobe CC to share ideas
- Familiarity with flowcharts such as Miron and Figma
- Writing skills and comedy bits are always a plus
