key competencies
- 5 years of broadcast, streaming and/or production/post-production experience
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design highly efficient workflows
- Ability to synthesize concepts and ideas into concise, engaging proposals and documents
- Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
- General understanding of software, hardware and cloud-based media workflows
- General understanding of video and audio signal streams, workflows, protocols and codecs
- Experience with cloud technologies such as serverless computing, storage and containerization
- Knowledge of networks, centralized storage, multiple operating system platforms, databases, etc.
- Experience managing and scaling distributed systems in public, private or hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with data monitoring and observation tools such as Datadog and OpenNMS
- Experience with CICD pipelines and their implementation.

Obligations
- Work effectively across multiple projects and teams to understand requirements and design efficient and reliable workflows
- Build large-scale services in both cloud and data center environments, ensuring the reliability and maintainability of solutions, with a special focus on performance, scale and reliability.
- Design, develop and implement systems and services with internal and external partners and suppliers from proof of concept to production
- Create a single pane of glass for reporting and managing/managing all metrics
- Troubleshoot signal, workflow and system issues in real-time
- Solving complex internal and external partner and supplier integrations.
