JP's Last Mile Execution Analytics (LMEA) team works as an integral part of Amazon Logistics to ensure its business intelligence, analytics, tools and planning needs are met. By providing information, insight and decision-making support, we strive to ensure the success of all parts of Amazon Logistics. Our customer base includes senior management, terminal operations, external suppliers, long-term planning, Ops technology (Voice of the Delivery Station, Voice of the Customer), network technology, and almost all Amazon Logistics BI and Ops teams.

BASIC STUDIES
- Master's degree in a quantitative field (computer science, mathematics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, etc.).
- Knowledge and understanding of data modeling skills, SQL with Oracle, MySQL and columnar databases.
- You know Java, C or another programming language and R, SAS, MATLAB, Python, etc. 5 years of data experience in a consumer products company leading machine learning scientists, data scientists, researchers, application scientists, economists or similar.
- Experience of leading expert researchers. English business level.
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Doctorate in a quantitative discipline (computer science, mathematics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistics, etc.).
- 10 years of experience in information technology in a consumer goods company.
- 5 years of experience managing machine learning scientists, data scientists, researchers, application scientists and/or economists.
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in several of the following areas: Machine Learning, Statistics, NLP, Deep Learning, Recommender Systems, Dialog Systems, Information Retrieval, XGBoost, LightGBM, ElasticNet. Working knowledge of AWS platforms like S3, Glue, Athena, Sagemaker.
- Demonstrated leadership in the areas of databases and/or data warehousing, data science and big data processing.
- In-depth knowledge of information, application, server and network security
- Successful results in developing less experienced team members for successful careers.
