what are you doing
A strong candidate will relish the opportunity to jump into a highly visible work stream with significant impact. You are an empathetic designer, a thought leader and skilled in design iterations. In addition, you are talented in user interface design, customer oriented and enjoy translating quantitative and qualitative observations into insights and strategies for product prioritization.
You can expect:
- Use design thinking principles to create compelling customer experiences that solve goals in an elegantly simple way
- Relaunching post-platform main projects to bring us closer to our visual space
- Help develop our design system and components
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, content designers, user researchers and other expert designers to execute design concepts that meet brand and business objectives and are technically feasible.
- Create a sense of urgency in the team to get the job done and emphasize the use of lightweight tools and techniques to get the job done faster.
- Make compelling presentations, build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, share information and solicit feedback on projects and agendas. Use your critical thinking skills and prioritize work that produces long-term value. You execute quickly, learn from failure and pivot quickly. The results of your efforts are impressive, measurable results
What you need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Architecture or similar field
- 3 years of professional UX experience
- Good understanding of design processes; especially in visual and user interface. Knowledge of what is possible and what is difficult to achieve and/or implement in the digital environment
- Good understanding of e-commerce best practices. Previous online shopping experience is a plus. Ability to think at the system level and design solutions that are scalable after one use
- Communication and communication skills: ability to present and express ideas, openness to form opinions that respectfully challenge beliefs
- Proficient in industry standard design and collaboration tools such as Figma and Miro
- Experience in prototyping relevant deliverables including detailed sitemaps, user flows/task flows, user flows, page flows, taxonomies/folksonomies, purchase paths, wireframes, annotations and interaction suggestions, etc.
- Ability to plan and execute usability tests and other user studies. HTML/CSS/JS experience.
- Practical knowledge is useful. UX copy writing skills. A web case study that demonstrates the relentless advocacy of the user and emphasizes e-commerce design work, mobile design work, analytical decision making and strategic thinking.
