Amazon is looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial and analytical Partnership Manager to help build and grow our emerging business in the US. The ideal candidate will have a unique balance of technical depth, business acumen and strong communication skills. As a Partnership Manager, you will own our external partner relationships, identifying areas to improve customer experience and developing growth strategies.
Basic tasks
- Define and execute a strategy for working with new and existing partners, including strategic talent acquisition and ongoing relationship management.
- Prioritize fulfillment between partners with Amazon teams and support scalable strategies for one-to-one interactions with these partners.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding of new integration partners, acting as a technical liaison between partners, product engineering, sales and support.
- Prepare and present partnership priorities that describe progress and obstacles to senior management.
- Collaborate with programming and product/engineering teams to drive product and introduce innovation.
- Generate insight-based recommendations to improve customer experience.
- Influence technical and non-technical audiences.
BASIC STUDIES
- 5 years of technical business development or partner development experience in high-tech, e-commerce, retail and/or developer ecosystem dependent services.
- Experience in procurement management, negotiations and strategic partnerships (offices, logistics integrators and/or consultants).
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a startup/fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in an energy-efficient, fast-paced environment.
