On his position is located in Shanghai/Kunshan/Suzhou/Shenzhen area. International travel required to work side by side with engineers in Cupertino.
key competencies
- You should have good basics about EE. This means you have a deep understanding of why our discipline works the way it does; you have developed intuition and can apply it to new topics because you understand the basics. (Analog/digital/interface design, signal/power integrity, testing, etc.)
- Hands-on experience in prototyping and debugging, functionality testing.
- You have strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, contract manufacturers and vendors. You have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with common EE equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzer, VI marker, etc.
- You have in-depth knowledge and experience of low-frequency interfaces (eg I2C, SPI, UART, RS85). etc. Design and testing experience Some of the following areas: CPU/SOC, power (DC-DC converters, battery, power management, low power design), analog circuits, audio/camera/display/wireless integration and measurement, sensor design and integration GOOD TO HAVE:
- Excellent FA ability to handle complex problems. Experience with PCB CAD tools such as Cadence Concept and Allegro
- Experience in manufacturing large-scale products from start to finish and working with contract manufacturers
- Experience with advanced equipment including TDR, VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, EDX, SEM, etc.
- Experience in lead PCB engineering and electrical design/characterization of high GHz signals such as DDR3/, PCIe gen, USB, LPDP, MIPI etc. Low-power embedded systems From 8-bit and 16-bit microcontrollers to multi-core ARM-based SoCs are very useful.
