In this prominent role, you will manage the SoC display subsystem architecture, including the memory fabric interface, data flow controllers, memory packages, display interfaces, etc.
Key Competencies
- BS and 20 years experience in signal processing/image processing. M.S. or Ph.D. rather.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in chip architecture, display subsystem architecture, design experience and a deep understanding of technology.
- Knowledge of SoC display subsystem architecture and microarchitecture
- In-depth understanding of SoC display subsystem architecture, user interface, performance and power trade-offs
- Broad understanding of display technology
- Demonstrated knowledge of memory subsystem, memory interface, and DMA
- Demonstrated architectural modeling ability
- Strong communication skills with multidisciplinary teams
Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the SoC display subsystem architecture:
- Work closely with SoC and fabric architects, software and system engineers for SoC display subsystem architecture
- Architectural display subsystems including display tube control, memory and interfaces
- Provide detailed architectural guidance at all design levels throughout the design process from concept to production
- Provide recommendations on key design tradeoffs between architecture and performance
- Preparation and maintenance of display subsystem architecture specifications
