This role is for an experienced SAP ECC/EWM ABAP developer in the e-commerce implementation team. The developer designs, configures, develops, tests EWM extensions, SAP interfaces to non-SAP systems, material handling devices and interfaces to tools such as web, RF, mobile, etc. It is designed to develop and support Costco's e-commerce fulfillment. SAP extended warehouse management systems (EWM). The developer will work with a peer development community and be able to communicate effectively with members of the wider team.

ROLE
- Develops or prototypes software modules of varying complexity, including but not limited to: service interfaces, process flows, service notifications, SOA components, business logic, UI/UX, or data access.
- Adopts and adapts to newly introduced technologies, programming languages, tools and standards.
- Analyze user needs and program requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints, including ability to estimate required work.
- Assess functional and non-functional requirements and create plans that meet both business and technical needs.
- Prepare conceptual and detailed technical design documents.
- Provides implementation expertise to assist with recovery, post-installation migration, data migration and other required artifacts, including creation of support plans.
- adheres to safety management practices and promotes established safety standards.
- Identifies and resolves problems, often preventing problems before they occur or escalate, develops and evaluates alternatives, and implements solutions.
- Designs and develops SAP EWM platform extensions, data interfaces and user interfaces.
- Create and execute unit test codes to ensure accurate results of development objects and meet business requirements.
- Provides application support including analysis, development, testing, monitoring and resolution.
- Interfaces with other developers to ensure systems are reliable, functional and testable.
- mentor less experienced team members in SAP programming concepts and tools.
- Participates in team activities and team planning to improve team skills, awareness and quality of work.
