BASIC STUDIES
- Continuing Bachelor's or Associate's degree in IT and at least 6 months of proven work experience in similar fields. *
- Expertise in network cabling
- Computer hardware troubleshooting, repair and replacement
- Basic experience with Linux, Unix or similar operating systems.
- Ability to follow well-defined technical standard operating procedure (SOP)
- Fluent in Portuguese
- We expect good writing and reading skills in English.
- This may require local and/or international travel;
- This position also has a physical component that requires the ability to lift equipment up to 18kg and lift shelves; this may require working in confined spaces or at heights following health and safety guidelines.
FAVORABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of data center or critical environment
- Installation of network equipment
- Receive and store components as soon as they arrive
- Can work with ticket priority systems
- Hands-on experience with network cabling
- Well organized and able to follow procedures to complete tasks.
- Self-starter enthusiastic about technology
