The Data Center Engineering Technician (EOT) is responsible for best practice systems delivery and troubleshooting of all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure (UPS, MV power systems, generators, cooling systems, etc.) in a given data center environment. place The position requires a highly self-motivated and motivated individual who proactively seeks solutions to complex technical problems. This position requires frequent site visits, critical change operations and troubleshooting and fixing infrastructure issues. The position would suit someone who enjoys working with mechanical and electrical (MandE) infrastructure such as diesel generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, AHU, fire detection systems and building automation systems. You will report to the Data Design Manager.

The selected candidate is responsible for:
- Set and maintain the highest safety standards and actively promote a world-class safety culture in all work procedures

- Enable 100% operational organization in all customer support infrastructures
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellence to all AWS customers

- Responsible for monitoring and managing facilities (via BMS, PMS, Walkthrough, etc.)
- Contribution to successful implementation of construction and modernization of data center infrastructure
- Ensuring the organization's ability to respond and respond appropriately to any event affecting potential customers in any part of the electronic or mechanical infrastructure. · Review event reports, documenting regular trend summaries and providing management with updates and recommended actions
- Prepare, update and maintain method statements, standard operating procedures, emergency procedures, preventive maintenance programs and all technical documents related to DCEO.
Physical Requirements:
- Work a 2x7 schedule (as needed)
- Working at height and from ladders. ·
