As the Guest Data Controller, the Product Data Analyst is responsible for collaborating with Business Owners, Product Owners, Design and Architecture to create data definitions, data quality rules and exception guidelines. Categorize data based on personally identifiable information (PII) and other parameters that help manage data as a business asset.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports, analytics and/or dashboards that measure guest data health and product OKRs.
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to develop a GDP action plan. Collaborate with Product Management to gain insight into use case prioritization, using data to make decisions about the size, scope and expected business impact of use case implementation. Define and measure the results of A/B tests using commercial testing tools
- You will be responsible for fully understanding external data flows and identifying data dependencies to support delivery, release and change management.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining an enterprise encyclopedia tailored to data resources and defining and maintaining enterprise vocabulary with guest data landscape including technology environment overlays, endpoint data flows/transformations and data queuing. Duties may change at any time due to business needs.
From you:
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
- 2 years of proven work experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
- Technical expertise in data models, database design development, data mining and data integration techniques
- Strong knowledge and experience with reporting tools, database programming language (eg SQL, etc.). Big data programming experience (eg spark, hive, python etc) is good if you have
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to gather, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in research, report writing and presentation of results
