- May be required to perform personal traffic control functions including air-to-ground communications and tower operations

Minimum requirements - education and previous work experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Read, write, speak fluently and understand English
- Bilingual skills are sometimes required
- Valid driver's license required by local authorities
- You must pass an FAA criminal background check to allow them unescorted access to Airport Security Identification Display Areas (SIDAs), if applicable.
- Must be able to validate appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security labels, if applicable
- Ability to work irregular and/or longer hours, including weekends and holidays
- You must report to work regularly and on time
