Main responsibilities and tasks:
A Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNA) works in an advanced capacity to achieve significant clinical and operational efficiency at the practical level. Under the supervision of the MinuteClinic Health Services Supervisor and day-to-day management of the Clinical Provider, the CNA focuses on appointment management, workflow optimization and support and enables growth while being able to provide a limited number of clinical services. patient care according to national regulations.
Patient care
- Help manage patients in the waiting area and set wait times.
- Assist with patient registration and answer questions about MinuteClinic services.
- Act as supervisor when requested by the patient or nurse in the primary examination room.
Clinical environment
- Maintain the clinic rooms and waiting area so that they are clean, tidy and ready for patient care.
- Ordering and maintaining appropriate supplies for the clinic.
Additional tasks
- Under the supervision of a nurse or physician, perform additional medical services covered by the Certified Practical Nurse (CNA) certificate, such as taking vital signs, documenting electronic medical records, and assisting with procedures.
