- 3-5 years of experience in similar data analysis.
- Good understanding of finance and BI concepts. A background in finance, accounting, operations, management consulting or other high-level organizations is required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to quickly filter and distill relevant information to the right audience.
- Strong coaching skills (requirements sessions; design meetings; progress and status meetings) to lead technical design discussions with engineers and provide simple, creative solutions to complex problems.
- Self-starter and proactive, demonstrated critical thinking and creative problem solving skills.
- Ability to adopt and learn complex processes in a changing and dynamic work environment with a steep learning curve.
- Experience with teamwork in agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Business Objects, Tableau, Essbase or other analytical tools and a desire to learn and explore new technologies
- Knowledge of Python/Shell scripting is a plus.
Description
In this role you will:
- Represents the company in all requirements, solution planning and project delivery discussions where business strategy and values/impacts are presented.
- Act as a link between the business world and the technical team, translating business needs into analysis requirements.
- Deep dive into financial and hierarchical data points across different hierarchies and understand the nuances of complex data behavior.
- Analyze business and data requirements to propose and design solutions.
- Participate in extensive research of Apple's financial datasets using various data mining and modeling techniques while collaborating cross-functionally with various data owners and analysts.
- Actively communicates data methods and results to various stakeholders in a concise and timely manner.
- Ability to work in a skilled team with a hands-on approach.
- If necessary, specify and approve user stories for the company.
- Work closely with Product Managers to align scope, priorities and quality of project deliverables.
- Helps support and maintain the production of BI applications at the management level.
