The Business Technical Analyst role works as part of the Customer Service IT team, supporting and maintaining the systems used by our customer service agents. The analyst looks for ways to improve customer service experiences and productivity while supporting an application. This role works closely with application teams and business owners to support initiatives, application enhancements and application release management.

- Works through dialogue with business partners to elicit high-level requirements and identify business needs
- Clearly articulates and documents business requirements
- Transform business requirements into operational requirements using a structured process (capturing, analyzing, documenting and processing changes)
- Leads requirements analysis to determine system potential and impact on other business units and systems contributing to development
- Supports project requirements according to requirements management plan
- Work with the business to find the right data sources and analysis methods for business needs
- Supports application and solution delivery by participating in design reviews and reports to inform requirements and validate proposed solutions
- Reviews product design documentation to ensure requirements are accurate, unambiguous and verifiable
- Helps create use cases/user stories to ensure all functional requirements are captured
- Performs performance analysis and supports application testing, implementation and training throughout the process
- Collaborates with external vendors to deliver solutions
- Identifies potential project obstacles and proactively liaises with project teams
- Collect, analyze and analyze data from multiple data sources

Qualifications
needed
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in computer science or a related discipline
- 3-5 years experience as a business analyst
- Data analysis
- Good communication skills, ability to communicate and present on multiple levels
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for data
- Ability to compile data and generate reports reflecting status and results
- We can set priorities, deal with ambiguity and deliver measurable results in an agile, fast-paced environment
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship
- Successful completion of the interview is required to apply for the position
- Reliable and punctual attendance is essential to the role
