ROLE
- Plans, develops, implements and documents Asset Management processes, procedures and tools.
- Identifies, organizes and maps relationships between software, hardware, licenses and other critical IT assets.
- Collects and interprets assets and works closely with external teams and vendors to ensure data accuracy.
- Develop ITAM implementation processes and procedures.
- Supports software asset management including: title deployment, vendor management, license reconciliation, audit support and software asset management improvement initiatives.
- Provides subject matter expertise and technical guidance in the design and implementation of ITAM solutions.
- Follows and ensures compliance with security guidelines.
- Manages asset movement, data, states and relationships, ie. software to hardware or hardware to software.
- Reviews purchase orders, helps receive and coordinate the acquisition of assets.
- Identifies asset types and creates new assets as needed.
- Helps to inventory and reconcile product storage.
- Gathers assets and works closely with external teams and vendors to ensure accuracy.
- Supports IT project and delivery teams by providing asset control, guidance and project completion and reconciliation.
- Monitors IT Asset Management (ITAM) database for accuracy and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Assists with US and Canadian IT equipment and software inventory.
- Supports software management, including rights management, vendor management, license reconciliation, audit support, and software improvement initiatives.
- Identifies opportunities to increase and increase efficiency through continuous process improvement.
REQUIRED
- Knowledge of life cycle or supply chain methods and processes.
- Knowledge of Costco financial and accounting processes.
- Experience with ServiceNow/CARTS system.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Detail oriented and demonstrates the ability to research effectively.
- Must be proficient in spreadsheets, word processing tools and Costco's internal financial systems.
- Must have excellent analytical and problem solving and customer service skills.
- You must have a positive attitude, the ability to work independently and take initiative with a strong sense of urgency.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with vendors and all levels of the Costco organization.
- Willingness to be trained and mentored; great teamwork.
- Understand Costco's business.
- Previous experience successfully managing multiple projects and tasks.
- Must be flexible and adapt to changes.
- Ability to work O/T as needed.
