The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member accounting team is responsible for managing loan portfolios and invoicing and collecting annual fees on behalf of the condominiums they support. The Account Services Operations Clerk is a position in a high volume inbound call center located in Celebration, Florida. As part of the member accounting service, the main role of the Account Service Officer is to assist DVC members with annual dues, guarantee and loan matters while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities of the position:
- You are responsible for assisting DVC members with accounting matters related to annual fees, guarantees and loans.
- Have complex discussions about new accounts, payment options, collection status, delinquent accounts (including pending foreclosures and bankruptcies), and accurate handling of associated payments.
- Quickly assess complex situations involving all types of financial transactions via phone, fax and/or email.
- Discuss appropriate options and make decisions based on departmental guidelines for a single call solution. Perform basic calculations related to maintaining a member account.
- Process accounting transactions in many financial applications. Follow standard procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls both during and after each interaction.
- Meets required departmental measurement requirements.
- Protect the security and confidentiality of members' personal and financial information entrusted to us, as well as the security of our business.
- Complete all required corporate training, including PII, PCI and compliance courses.
- Collaborate with other areas to provide a positive member experience.
- Assist in training new employees as needed.
Undergraduate Degrees:
- Banking and/or accounting background
- Demonstrated strong guest service skills and demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to handle large events efficiently and accurately, work independently, multitask and manage time accordingly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good computer skills including data entry, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skills and willingness to learn new software
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- You have strong partnering skills and a willingness to exchange ideas and information in a positive way to maximize results
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- Flexibility when asked for other duties related to departmental projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to learn all aspects of account services
- Experience in loan servicing or other advertising environment; knowledge of simple interest loans
- Bilingual English/Spanish/Japanese
- Call center work experience
